Membership

Savannah Longsword accepts anyone who is interested in learning the art and sport of historical fencing. Monthly membership rates vary across organizations depending on a variety of factors; the costs to join our club are broken down below, and it is everything you can expect to pay to attend our classes.

Our programs alternate between structured classes and open practice as decided by our instructors. You can find our schedule at the bottom of our website.

All of our classes meet at Lake Mayer Park. We normally meet at the Roller Rink/Hockey Rink but you can also occasionally find us at the Tennis Courts (usually on Wednesdays when there’s hockey practice).

Annual Membership Fee

To join our club, you must first register for Schola Saint George, our national parent organization, with an annually renewing membership.

Note: we don’t get confirmation of it, so please send us an email with your receipt!

Adult Class Rate

$50/mo

3 Classes/Week

All adult dues go towards club expenses, such as equipment, spaces, and events. We accept payments through PayPal or cash.

$150/mo

or $20 a class

Youth classes are also thrice a week and dues go towards the club as well as paying our youth instructors. We accept payments through PayPal or cash.
